The LPMC Monthly Business Meeting will once again be at the historic 19th century Athenaeum Building, downtown Indianapolis, home of the Rathskeller. We’ll be in the Max Kade Room, which is on Level 1 (up the stairs from Street Level).
The meeting starts with our candiddate training at 7:00pm sharp, so please arrive a little early to ensure you’re seated by the time we start. This month's guest speaker will be Jeff Stanger, Development Director of the Salvation Army, and he will be teaching us fundraising 101.
In the spirit of voluntary charity, the Libertarian Party of Marion County is now collecting nonperishable food for our November food drive and new or gently used clothing for our December clothing drive. Additionally, we will also accept monetary donations this year.
This year’s beneficiary is Second Helpings. Second Helpings not only distribute food and clothing, they also provide job training opportunities. Their website is http://www.secondhelpings.org/.
If you are interested in making a contribution, please bring nonperishable food to our November business meeting and clothing to our December Holiday Party. For monetary donations, you can donate through our PayPal account at http://www.indylp.org/donate. Again, please specify "Food and Clothing Drive” when using PayPal to ensure your donation is allocated properly.
One other side note, Indianapolis Councilman at Large and fellow Libertarin Ed Coleman has offered to match the first $200 value we collect. Let’s make good on his offer!
LPMC Business meetings are always held on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month. And with your help, they can always be held at the Athenaeum…pledge a monthly donation of $5-10 or more today, to help offset the room rental costs: http://www.indylp.org/donate
