This After-Hours is specially scheduled for March 23, were we'll be remembering the legacy of Patrick Henry by networking and talking about liberty at The Vollrath Tavern, near downtown.
Patrick Henry is perhaps best known for the speech he made in the House of Burgesses on March 23, 1775 ("Give me liberty, or give me death!").
The Vollrath Tavern is located on the very near-South side of downtown Indy in the historic Southside "Sacred Heart Catholic Church" neighborhood. Located @ Meridian and Palmer...3 blocks east. When you enter the Vollrath it's like stepping back into time into an old LARGE "Chicago / Brooklyn style" neighborhood tavern as it was when John Dillinger used to frequent it.
